Amatra understands that rework, which is the repair of an electronic Printed Circuit Board Assembly(PCBA), cannot be done using mass processing techniques because they do not apply to single device repair and/or replacement. Therefore, specialized techniques are used to identify, repair & replace defective components - most notably area array packages such as Ball Grid Array (BGA) devices.

Our depot repair goes through over 6000 parts each month, ranging from motherboards to DVD drives, and from servers to internet firewall products. Work is carried out using only the very best machines such as the acclaimed BGA, which is lead-free soldering compatible. Repair output is both staggering in number, as well as in efficiency. With a yield rate of between 90-95%, Amatra delivers perfect results each time.
